Our Story

The name AIRAO was born not from a random choice, but from a heartfelt promise: it combines "AI" (meaning "love" in Chinese) and "RAO" (symbolizing "care" and "thoughtfulness"). Back in 1992, our founder – a craftsman with over a decade of experience in the hair industry – noticed a painful gap: many hair products on the market prioritized profit over comfort, leaving customers with ill-fitting, unnatural toupees that failed to restore their confidence.

He set out to change that. In a small workshop in Qingdao’s coastal district, he founded AIRAO brand with a single, unshakable mission: "To craft hair products that feel like a natural part of you – not just a replacement, but a restoration of confidence and joy." This wasn’t just a business goal; it was a personal commitment to honor the dignity of every person who turns to us for hair solutions.

Unlike mass-produced brands, we refused to cut corners. Our founder personally oversaw every step – from selecting the softest human hair to hand-stitching each toupee to mimic the natural growth direction of real hair. He believed that great hair products shouldn’t just look real; they should feel real – lightweight, breathable, and so comfortable you forget you’re wearing them.

Over 30 years, that founding promise has never wavered. The name AIRAO remains our compass: every product we make, every innovation we pursue, every customer we serve is guided by the core value of "love and care in every strand". We don’t just manufacture toupees and wigs – we craft pieces of confidence, tailored to the unique needs of each person who trusts us.

Today, AIRAO has grown from a small workshop to a global brand reaching 100+ countries, but our heart remains the same.
